Most system failures give a warning first. A camera goes grey, a disk makes a noise, a door reader works only some of the time. A maintenance contract means someone checks before the failure arrives.
An Annual Maintenance Contract, or AMC, is a yearly agreement. GTECH visits on a schedule, services your systems, fixes faults within the response time you have agreed and gives you a report after every visit.

What the contract covers
Planned visits: our engineers clean cameras and readers, check recorders and storage, test door releases and barrier safety devices, update software and review the logs.
Fault response: when something stops working, you call us and we attend within the time written in your contract, on site or remotely.
Reports: after each visit you receive a short report that lists what we checked, what we fixed and what we recommend. These reports are useful for budgeting and for showing authorities or auditors that the system is maintained.
Parts: some contracts include replacement parts and some do not. You choose, and the contract states it clearly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you maintain systems that someone else installed?
Yes. We inspect them first and tell you what we can cover and what we recommend fixing.
How often will you visit?
Most contracts have between two and four visits a year. We agree the number with you, based on the size and type of the system.
What if something breaks between visits?
Call us. Fault response is part of the contract, and the response time is written in it.
Is a contract worth it for a small system?
For a small system, a single yearly visit with call-out support is often enough. We can keep the contract light.
